The "Filthy Fifty" benchmark WOD (aka: "Father's Day 500" for its 500 total reps and its first appearance on Father's Day, was first posted (without a name) on CrossFit.com as the workout of the day for Sunday, June 19, 2005 (050619).

CrossFit has posted it many times since, but never (as of 2017) with the name "Filthy Fifty." It's not clear who originated the name, but the workout is well known among CrossFit boxes.
