About the wod
The oldest reference to “Running Jackie” we’ve found was by CrossFit Full Circle (Richmond, VA, USA) who posted it as their workout of the day for November 22, 2008. The workout is a variant of the classic CrossFit “Girl” WOD, “Jackie.”
Sometimes this variant is programmed with a 1,000m Run (based on the original “Jackie”‘s 1,000m Row). But all of the oldest sources we’ve found use an 800m Run.
