“Quarantine Classic #6”
TTT Quarantine Classic Workout #6 (Strength 2)
- With a Running Clock in 12 minutes
- Max Isometric Chin-Over-Bar Hold
- Directly into:
- Establish 5 rep max Shoulder-to-Overhead
On a 12-minute clock, perform the prescribed work in the order written. Athlete must hold the isometric chin over bar Pull-Up Hold for as long as possible. Then in the remaining time, establish a 5 rep max Shoulder-to-Overheads. Barbell must start and rest on the floor. No rack.
This event will have two scores. Score A is the total time of the hold. Score B is the heaviest load successfully lifted for the 5 rep max Shoulder-to-Overheads within the 12-minute clock.
Chin Over Bar Hold: You must complete this with your chin over the horizontal plane of the Pull-Up Bar and in front of the vertical plane of the Pull-Up Bar (please see video). Your time starts once you have met this standard and end as soon as your chin no longer meets the above standard.
Soulder-to-Overhead: The bar must start on the floor. You may take as many attempts as you would like and are allowed to perform the lift in any manner from the front rack (Split, Push Jerk, Push Press) but you must come to full extension on each rep with feet together for that rep to count. You must perform 5 consecutive reps for the weight to be counted.

Background: Quarantine Classic #6 marks the last workout out of 6 total WODs in the Training Think Tank Quarantine Classic Series, programmed by the Coaches at Training Think Tank @trainingthinktank (TTT) during the 2020 COVID pandemic.
The series of WODs included 2 “engine” (cardio) workouts, 2 “CrossFit” workouts, and 2 “strength” workouts.
Training Think Tank posted on Reddit: “For the record, we polled our audience and the majority still have access to equipment so that’s why most of these workouts include them. But we have done a few things to serve those without any at this time including a free 6 day/week no equipment program called “TTT at Home” which posts daily to the @tttathome IG page.”
