Athlete may perform the work in any order, in any size sets, switching between movements as needed. Score is the time it takes to complete all 240 repetitions. If unable to complete the work in the time allowed, score is the total number of repetitions completed when the 20-minute clock expires.

In his customary video posted to Instagram, Director of the Games Dave Castro @thedavecastro breathlessly explained that 20.5 primarily tested an athlete's intelligence and ability to both create a workout strategy and potentially modify that strategy as the workout progressed.
