About the wod
Background: We first found this WOD posted by Maxability Sports and CrossFit @wearemaxability (Teaneck, NJ, USA) as their workout of the day for Friday, December 2, 2011. The post said, “This WOD is just like our 5@5 platform warm-up. Except for Back Squats…and its for 20 Minutes straight…OMG.” It’s not clear who originally designed this “Incredible Hulk” WOD, but this barbell workout has since been adopted as a benchmark by gyms around the world.
Competitive athlete @_mattmorton_ sent us a video of himself completing 16 Rounds + 12 Repetitions Rx in 2017.
