The oldest mention we’ve found of this workout is from January 21, 2012 on the CrossFit Daily workout blog. The blog refers to the WOD at an earlier date, November 26, 2011, but we couldn’t find that post. The workout has been posted by boxes around the world since then.

Freak is a combination of movements from multiple WODs – a few of the original “GIirls,” specifically Fran, Eva, Annie, and Kelly.

The source originally posted the kettlebell weight as 53/35 lb (1.5/1 pood), but we’ve chosen to post it here using the Rx weight from “Eva” (2/1.5 pood).
