"Everest" is a benchmark WOD created by a popular functional training program by coach Ben Bergeron (we can't use the program's name) that involves a brutal complex of heavy back squats and strict handstand push-ups, following a classic CrossFit 21-15-9 rep scheme.

The workout was first posted to their YouTube channel, then to their website as the workout of the day for Monday, July 9, 2018. The video featured elite athlete Brooke Wells, who finished in 6:36 - each round unbroken.

They issued a challenge to any competitor to finish the workout in under 8:00.
