Background: “The Crippler” is a benchmark workout that has been adopted by CrossFit gyms around the world. Its origin is unclear and there are multiple variants. One of the oldest mentions we found was by 918 CrossFit @918crossfit (Tulsa, OK), who posted it as their workout of the day for June 20, 2012.
