Background: The "Clean" was the 8th of 12 workouts of the 2019 CrossFit Games. Mathew Fraser took first place individual male with a score of 380 lbs. Tia-Clair Toomey took first place individual female with a score of 265 lbs.

The 2019 CrossFit games was held in Madison, Wisconsin, from August 1 - 4. This is the second time the Games have been hosted in Madison, (the first being the 2017 Games).
