  • Kettlebell Thrusters (32/20 kg)
  • Burpees
  • Kettlebell Sumo Deadlift High-Pulls (32/20 kg)
  • Burpees
  • Kettlebell Swings (32/20 kg)

Use one kettlebell. For the Thrusters hold the kettlebell in a goblet position and finish with the kettlebell and both arms overhead. Recommended time cap: 30 minutes

Background: “Burptacular” from Fit Plus Dublin (Dublin, Ohio, USA) was submitted to us by John Katsares in November 2017, he said “My wife Elizabeth created this one for her class [in 2015]. When finished, you will have completed 165 burpees and 165 reps of the thrusters, DL/HP, and swings combined.”

Katsares said “Burptacular” was designed with “movements a beginner CrossFitter can achieve a solid anaerobic challenge… Plus equipment required is minimal, which means it can be done at a home gym.”

We tried it. It was rough. Right away we knew we had to add this to our collection.
