“Big Mama Tabata”

  • Row (Calories)
  • Power Cleans (135/95 lb)

Each Tabata is 8 rounds of :20 seconds of work, :10 seconds of rest. Complete 8 full rounds of each movement prior to starting the next (:10 seconds rest between movements). Score is total reps but also count reps for each movement.

“Big Mama Tabata” was created by CrossFit New England, first posted on their website December 19, 2014. CFNE names all their daily WODs "for fun," and some like this one get more widely adopted in the CrossFit community (however this WOD was not on the short list of "official" CFNE benchmark WODs provided to us by CFNE’s Director of Operations, Eamon Coyne).

CrossFit New England is famous for being the training ground for multiple CrossFit Games champions, under the expert eye of head coach and owner, Ben Bergeron.
