Background: The “Beast 12” WOD was originally posted on the CrossFit main site on December 30, 2004 (“041230”) and has been re-posted there multiple times since, but never officially by this name — or any name. After its first few appearances, members of the CrossFit community started referring to the workout as “Beast 12,” for the number of movements.
