Background: "21-15-9 Complex" was the 6th of 13 total WODs for the 2014 CrossFit Games. The final stage of the eigth annual CrossFit Games and were held on July 22-27, 2014, at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

The workout was named for the total number of reps completed in each round of the workout (a nod to the many 21-15-9 CrossFit workouts). It was first posted on crossfit.com as the workout of the day for Saturday, July 26, 2014 (140726).
