Athlete will perform 21 reps (8+7+6=21) of Deadlift/Clean/Snatch then Pull-Ups/Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups/Bar Muscle-Ups; then 15 reps (6+5+4=15); then 9 reps (4+3+2=9).

The "21-15-9 Complex" event was the 1st of 13 total workouts for individual competitors, on day 1 - Wednesday - of the 2014 CrossFit Games.

The workout was named for the total number of reps completed in each round of the workout (a nod to the many 21-15-9 CrossFit workouts). It was first posted on crossfit.com as the workout of the day for Saturday, July 26, 2014 (140726).
