“WZAOC 16.1 Qualifier”

2016 Wodapalooza Online Qualifier WOD #1

  • For Max Load
  • 6 rep max Bear Complexes
  • No Time Cap

Complete six unbroken reps of the following complex: Clean (any style), Front Squat (Squat Cleans are acceptable), Shoulder to Overhead from the front rack (any style- including thruster-jerks), Back Squat, and Shoulder to Overhead from the back rack (any style).

The bar may not “rest” on the ground at any point over the course of the 6 reps.

Tiebreaker: Time it takes to complete the 6RM Bear Complex.

Wodapalooza announced this workout, "WZAOC 2016 WOD #1," in September, 2016 as the first workout for individuals in their online challenge, the qualifier for the 2016 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival in Miami, FL.

The organizers describe the event as a way to “unite the community and provide an opportunity for us to test our fitness on a worldwide stage and to earn a spot to compete at the 2016 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival.” Standards shown here are for the Rx division (there are also Elite, Intermediate, Scaled and other divisions in the competition).
