2015 Wodapalooza Online Challenge WOD #3
- AMRAP in 7 minutes
- 21-15-9 reps of:
- Handstand Push-Ups
- Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
On a 7-minute clock, athlete must complete as many rounds and repetitions of 21 Handstand Push-Ups and 21 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups, 15 Handstand Push-Ups and 15 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups, and 9 Handstand Push-Ups and 9 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups.
Score is the total number of repetitions completed before the 7-minute clock stops.
About the wod
Background: “WZAOC Qualifier 15.3” was the third of six total workouts for the 2015 Wodapalooza Online Challenge.
The organizers describe the event as a way to “unite the community and provide an opportunity for us to test our fitness on a worldwide stage and to earn a spot to compete at the 2015 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival.” Standards shown here are for the Rx division (there are also Elite, Intermediate, Scaled and other divisions in the competition).
2015 was the Wodapalooza competition’s third year, growing from a local event in 2012 to attracting “over 25,000 spectators & nearly 1,500 athletes, representing 30 countries.” Their online challenge is the first step in qualifying for the Wodapalooza fitness festival.
