Intended Stimulus: Lower body, trunk burner. Starts with a set of double-unders to get your heart rate jacked and then a couplet that challenges the legs and lower back to sandwiched in between.

Strategy: Just find a pace here. Your heart rate is going to be up from the jump roping already. Get into a groove with the pistols. Find a rhythm and just think about something else. These aren’t big sets for experienced athletes but if you’re not used to pistols, it can be painful. If you think you’ll need to break up your kb swings more than once or twice, go to a smaller kb. The last set of DUs can be zesty after all the leg work… even if it’s not really a big set. Might be a bit wobbly.
