“Toes to Bike”
Coach Creation WOD
- 3 rounds-
- 21 cal bike
- 15 TTB
- 9 Deadlifts (225/155)
This workout should take no longer than 10 minutes. Faster athletes should be able to finish in under 6:00 minutes. The first round goes pretty fast. The bike slows down on the subsequent rounds and toes to bar become difficult as the grip becomes taxed. Find a weight on the deadlift that you can do unbroken. Stronger athletes could do this whole workout unbroken. For most athletes, consider breaking up the toes to bar in the first set like 9 reps and then 6 and then into 3 separate sets to allow the abs and grip to recover.
Intermediate athletes can do the workout as it is written but could reduce the deadlift weight if they want to.
Scaled athletes could sub toes to bar with knees to elbows or kip swings. The deadlift weight could be reduced to 95/65 or a kettlebell.
