With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written. Perform the prescribed movements while wearing a Ruck except for Burpees. For the Thrusters and Overhead Hold, athlete will use the Ruck for the weight.

Score is the time on the clock when the last round of 400 meter Ruck Run is completed.

Note:  The workout as originally written called for a “Bergen” which is a British army rucksack.

Background: The “Scotty” Challenge Tribute Workout is a collective tribute to honor British military members killed in action, and the families they left behind.

The workout was designed by performance coach and athlete Tanya Haeffele (the founder of Pyramid Apparel) for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that provides support for the children of fallen British soldiers.

“The Scotty Challenge is the ultimate fitness challenge…organised by Scotty’s Little Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children. In memory of our fallen heroes. In support of the children they leave behind…Many participants [take] on the challenge over the [UK] Remembrance weekend to remember those who have lost their lives in the service of their country.” Proceeds from the challenge benefit Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
