CrossFit 1298 Memorial WOD
- AMRAP in 22 minutes
- 22 Dumbbell Snatches (22.5x15 kg)
- 4 Man Makers (2x22.5/15 kg)
- 20 Burpees
- 20 Single Dumbbell Front Squats (22.5/15 kg)
On a 22-minute clock, perform as many rounds and repetitions as possible (AMRAP) of the prescribed work in the order written.
Score is the total number of rounds and repetitions completed before the 22-minute clock stops.
About the wod
Steven served for over 20 years and was a well known and well-respected colleague and friend. He is described by those who knew him as a Titan and a true Gentleman.
The workout was designed by Alison Gray of CrossFit 1298 @crossfit1298 (Falkirk, Scotland) and John Dunlop, head coach and owner of ULT Fitness & CrossFit @ultfitnessandcrossfit (Ayr, Scotland).
In an email with CrossFit 1298, we were told that Alison Gray was a friend and work colleague of Officer Leslie, and that "The Gentleman" was first performed at their gym. A number of Scottish affiliates have also shared this workout with their members.
The rep scheme signifies the date when Steven passed away.
