"Exposure," 2020 The Blackout Fall Throwdown WOD #1

  • With a Running Clock in 4 minutes
  • Establish a one rep max of the following complex:
  • 2 Snatches + 2 Overhead Squats

In four minutes, establish a one rep max of the following complex: 2 Snatches plus 2 Overhead Squats.

Score is the heaviest load successfully lifted for the complex.

Movement Standard

Snatch: The Snatch can be a squat or power and must start from the ground.

Overhead Squat: The Overhead Squat must start at full extension with the Barbell overhead at the bottom the hip crease must pass below the knee. The movement must finish with the athlete standing back at full extension with the Barbell overhead. During the Overhead Squat, the Bar cannot be put down below the head. The complex must be unbroken and the snatches must be touch and go.

The competition is an all-inclusive fall throwdown with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Destined for Greatness Youth Outreach Center which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization developed as a solution to the need for youth empowerment programs.
