This British Hero WOD is dedicated to Captain Tom Sawyer, 7 (Sphinx) Commando Battery, 29 Commando Regiment and Corporal Danny Winter, Zulu Company, 45 Commando, Royal Marines who gave their all in Afghanistan, on January 14, 2009. Cpt. Sawyer and Cpl Winter were taking part in an operation against a known Taliban stronghold. During the operation, both men were caught in an explosion and died of their injuries.
