Score is the total number of rounds and repetitions completed before the 17-minute clock stops.
About the wod
Background: This workout is dedicated to Selim Abdul who died on April 27, 2018 in a car accident.
The workout was designed by Serap Schnevski @mulanx0x, Selim’s older sister.
In a conversation with WODwell, Serap told us that she chose movements suited for every ability, even for people who do not do CrossFit or functional training. Her goal with this tribute was to spread the WOD and involve as many people (family, friends, school mates, CrossFitters, etc.) as possible to keep Selim’s memory alive.
The rep scheme signifies:
– 8-24 reps for Selim’s birthday on August 24, 2000
– 17 minutes for his age
– 4-27 for the date when he passed away, April 27.
