Background: Like the ArmyWOD workout Yankee, Romeo was designed for field conditions where no equipment is available. With only 100 total reps and a one-mile run, the average Soldier will be able to complete the workout in less than 20 minutes. The trick is in the hand-release push-ups. When your chest touches the ground, your hands should be lifted off the ground about one inch. This makes the movement more explosive, but also significantly more challenging. This workout was first performed in Camp Humphreys, South Korea during the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade's Organizational Day (aka. "Mandatory Fun").
