Background: This workout is dedicated to WW1 veteran Thomas “Tommy” Ricketts who passed away on February 10, 1967, at the age of 65.

Born on April 15, 1901, Tommy was a Newfoundland soldier and recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Ricketts is the youngest army recipient fighting in a combatant role.

The workout was designed by Islander Athletics @islanderathletics (Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada) to be performed yearly on their memorial day, November 11.
