“Quarantine Classic #2”
Quarantine Classic Workout #2 (Engine 2)
- 5 Rounds for Time
- 50 Air Squats
- 20x50 foot Shuttle Run
- Time Cap: 20 minutes
With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written for 5 rounds.
Score is the time on the clock when the last round of Shuttle Run is completed.
Air Squat: Hip crease must go below knee and must stand tall at extension on each rep.
Shuttle Run: 20×50 feet shuttle run = 1,000 feet. Foot or hand must touch the line or passed the line on each turn around. Each 50 feet of shuttle run = 1 rep.
About the wod
Background: Quarantine Classic #2 marks the 2nd workout out of 6 total WODs in the Training Think Tank Quarantine Classic Series, programmed by the Coaches at Training Think Tank @trainingthinktank (TTT) during the 2020 COVID pandemic.
The series of WODs included 2 “engine” (cardio) workouts, 2 “CrossFit” workouts, and 2 “strength” workouts.
Training Think Tank posted on Reddit: “For the record, we polled our audience and the majority still have access to equipment so that’s why most of these workouts include them. But we have done a few things to serve those without any at this time including a free 6 day/week no equipment program called “TTT at Home” which posts daily to the @tttathome IG page.”
