About the wod
Background: The “Paul 4179” Hero WOD is in memory of Officer Paul J. Sciullo, who was killed on April 4, 2009, while on a call to a domestic situation.
He was standing in the doorway of the house when he was ambushed and killed in the line of duty.
We first found this workout posted by Industrial Athletics @industrialathletics, who said “prior to his death, he attended CrossFit classes at CrossFit Pittsburgh @crossfitpittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA, USA), who created this WOD based on his badge number and favorite movements.”
