- 10 Burpee Box Jumps (24/20 in)

About the wod
Pena participated in the Junior ROTC program at San Marcos Baptist Academy and later graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He maintained his fitness with CrossFit workouts and particularly enjoyed running, burpees, push-ups and pull-ups.
He is survived by his mother, Cecilia.
This Hero WOD was first posted on the CrossFit Main Site as the workout of the day for Thursday, January 19, 2017 (170119). The workout was named "Paul," even though CrossFit had previously posted a different Hero WOD by the same name (see: "Paul," named for Officer Paul J. Sciullo) in 2010.
