  • Buy-In: 52 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 lb)
  • Then, 31 Rounds of:
  • 9 Dumbbell Box Step Overs (2x50/35 lb, 24/20 in)
  • 9 Dumbbell Hang Power Cleans (2x50/35 lb)
  • 20 Double-Unders
  • 1 Devil Press (2x50/35 lb)
  • Cash-Out: 52 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 lb)

With a running clock, complete the prescribed work in the order written as fast as possible (“For Time“). Athlete must start with the buy-in of 52 Wall Ball Shots. Then, proceed to 31 rounds of 9 Dumbbell Box Step Overs, 9 Dumbbell Hang Power Cleans, 20 Double-Unders, and 1 Devil Press. To finish the workout, complete the cash-out of 52 Wall Ball Shots.

Score is the time on the clock when the cash-out is completed.

Background: This workout is dedicated to Detective Constable Jeffrey Northrup (#99201) who was intentionally struck by a vehicle while investigating a stabbing on July 2, 2021. He served Toronto Police Service and the citizens of Toronto for 31 years.

Detective Northup started his career with TPS as a “Court Officer”  before becoming a police Constable. He worked at 52 Division since 2008 and was a mentor to all the new officers who had the privilege to be coached by him. He was given the nicknames “Papa Bear” and “Big Country” by those who worked alongside him.

He is survived by his wife and 3 children.

The workout was designed by Coach Meg Garrett @meggarrettstrong, CF-L2, of CrossFit Crosscheck (Ontario, Canada).
