Background: This tribute WOD is dedicated to Maddy Myers, a CrossFit Games athlete who made her first appearance in 2015. "Myers" is the workout for the day to celebrate her 21st birthday celebration on January 5, 2018. The workout was designed by the coaches from CrossFit Invictus @crossfitinvictus (San Diego, CA, USA).

Maddy is a stellar athlete and this workout was clearly created with her (and other elite athletes) in mind. She "finished 32nd worldwide in the 2015 [CrossFit Games] Open, earning a Regionals invitation in her first year participating in the Open. Maddy sat outside of a qualifying spot throughout the South Super Regional weekend until the final event, where she flew through 15 muscle-ups and 5 barbells to secure 5th place overall and a trip to the CrossFit Games. Maddy [was] the second youngest athlete to compete in the individual division at the CrossFit Games, and the first high school student to earn an invitation since 2012."
