  • For Time
  • Buy-In: 30 Box Jump Overs (24/20 in)
  • Then, complete 10 Rounds of Unbroken:
  • 5 Dumbbell Deadlifts (2x50/35 lb)
  • 4 Dumbbell Cleans (2x50/35 lb)
  • 3 Front Squats (2x50/35 lb)
  • Cash-Out: 30 Box Jump Overs (24/20 in)

With a clock set to count up, the athlete begins the workout at 3-2-1 go with a “buy-in” of 30 Box Jump-Overs. Box Jump-Overs must include a two-feet take-off. Both feet must come in contact with the top of the box before the athlete then jumps down off the Box – unless the athlete chooses to completely clear the Box and jump to the other side. A full over Box Jump is allowed as long as the athlete clearly jumps over the height of the Box directly (NOT over a corner). Athletes do not need to stand up on the Box.

Once the athlete has completed 30 successful Box Jump-Overs, the athlete may begin the 10 Double Dumbbell complexes. For a complex to count, the athlete may not put the Dumbbells down between movements. So each 5-4-3 UNBROKEN set counts as one complex. The athlete may set the Dumbbells down after a full complex is achieved. The athlete finishes the workout with 30 more Box Jump–Overs.

Score is time to complete the workout or reps completed in 13 minutes.

Movement Standards

Deadlift: One Dumbbell head of each dumbbell must clearly touch the floor, and the athlete must reach full hip extension for the Deadlift to count.

Clean:  The athlete must touch the Dumbbells to the floor and lift them to the front rack position with full hip extension at the top.

Front Squat: Dumbbells must be in a front rack position, and the athlete must complete a below-parallel squat with full hip extension at the top.

Background: “MFCC Qualifier 21.5” was the last of 5 total WODs for the 2021 Master’s Fitness Collective Championship Online Qualifier competition. The main event was held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on September 2-5, 2021. The competition is “Masters-only” consisting of 35-65+ men and women athletes.
