- 3 Handstand Push-Ups
- 3 Thrusters (115/85 lb)

- 6 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
- Continue with this pattern, adding 3 reps to each movement after every round.
Using a timer counting 12 minutes DOWN, at 3-2-1 go, the athlete may kick up to the wall for Handstand Push-Ups. The athlete’s hands must be within the taped box. Fingers may touch the tape. Athletes must demonstrate locked-out elbows and fully extended hips after descending head to the floor and pushing up. Kipping or Strict Handstand Push-Ups are permitted.
After three Handstand Push-Ups, the athlete completes three Thrusters at the appropriate weight. The athlete may start with a Squat Clean – a “cluster” – but it must clearly be a Thruster and not a Clean and Shoulder-to-Overhead. After completing three Thrusters, the athlete may perform three Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups. Anything below the athlete’s collar bone must touch the bar. Kipping, strict, or butterfly Pull-Ups are permitted as long as the athlete meets the standards.
Once the athlete has completed three of each movement, they move to 6-6-6 then 9-9-9 and so on until the clock runs out.
Score is the total number of reps completed at 12 minutes.

Background: “MFCC Qualifier 21.2” was the 2nd of 5 total WODs for the 2021 Master’s Fitness Collective Championship Online Qualifier competition. The main event was held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on September 2-5, 2021. The competition is “Masters-only” consisting of 35-65+ men and women athletes.
