2021 Masters Fitness Collective Championship Qualifier WOD #1

- 1,000 meter Row
- 50 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 lb, 10/9 ft)
- 25 Rower Facing Burpees
- Time Cap: 9 minutes
Using a timer counting UP, at 3-2-1 go, the athlete begins a 1,000 meter Row with the Rower set to count down from 1,000 meters. Hands must not touch the handle until the clock starts, and athletes may not release foot straps and exit the Rower until all 1,000 meters are complete.
Once the 1,000 Row is complete, the athlete may begin 50 Wall Ball Shots with the appropriate ball and target. Athletes’ squats must be below parallel and hips fully extended at the top of each Wall Ball Thruster. Balls must clearly hit the target or above the target at the top of the throw (not when descending).
Once all Wall Ball Shots are complete, the athlete may begin 25 Rower-Facing Burpees. Athletes must straddle visible tape lines perpendicular to the Rower for Burpees. Chest must touch the floor. Step-ups to finish the Burpee are permitted. Jumps over the Rower must include a two-feet takeoff but may include a staggered landing.
Score is the time on the clock when the last Burpee is completed.

The main event was held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on September 2-5, 2021. The competition is “Masters-only” consisting of 35-65+ men and women athletes.
