- 35 Double-Unders
With a running clock perform seven rounds of 5 Bench Presses, 5 Power Cleans, and 35 Double-Unders as fast as possible (“For Time“).
Score is the time on the clock when the last set of 35 Double-Unders is completed.
About the wod
Background: “Mark 35” is a memorial WOD named for Mark Kenney (11/1/83-11/26/06), brother of CrossFit Games competitor Craig Kenney @ckenney34, owner if Brandford CrossFit @branford_crossfit (Branford, CT, USA). Craig posted the workout in his brother’s memory. In his post he said, “Mark was a type 1 diabetic. This was something he battled with most of his adolescent life into adulthood. We miss him dearly and celebrate his life today! This workout was created in his honor! Please give everything you have the way Mark did every set, every rep. Never let up…Not for a second!”
Craig does the workout each year, sometimes posting a video, and has demonstrated that sub-7 minute times are possible.
