About the wod
Marie trained at CrossFit Kvadraturen and the box created this workout in her memory. The 17-minute AMRAP represenets Marie's age. The rep scheme represents the date she was killed (26th day, 7th month, 2017).
We originally found the workout posted by Karoline Gulbrandsen @karoline.g.hansen in 2017. Karoline posted a version of the workout with Sumo Deadlifts as the middle movement and we posted that version of the workout here on WODwell. In 2019 the creator of the workout, Coach Magnus Frantzen @frantzenkraft of CrossFit Kvadraturen contacted us with a correction: he designed the WOD with Power Cleans as the middle movement. We corrected the workout above and kept the initial version with Sumo Deadlifts as an "Alternative" scaled option.
