This “Los” Memorial WOD is from CrossFit Livermore (CFL) (Livermore, CA, USA) in honor of Carlos Tovar who died at the age of 41 on 6/23/18. “He was a big part of the CFL community and will be greatly missed.”

Carlos was tragically killed in a boating accident, leaving behind his wife, Mona, and two children, Izaiah and Olivia.

His birthday was on May 18. Hence, the rep scheme for the cleans and double-unders. When he worked out, he would often do interval work - sprint, rest, sprint, then rest again. It was "his style" of AMRAP. He also loved heavy clean-and-jerks.

In Carlos’ memory, CFL opened their doors to the public on Saturday, July 7, 2018, for anyone who wanted to join their classes for free. They raised funds to support Carlos’ family via a GoFundMe campaign.
