  • For Time
  • 1 mile Barbell Walk (Bodyweight)
  • Walk 800 meters out then turn around and return to the starting point.

With a running clock, hold a Barbell in any way and walk for 800 meters out and 800 meters back (for a total of 1,600 meters or approximately 1 mile).

Score is the time to complete the 1 mile.

Scaling Options

The recommended weight is your bodyweight. But if it is your first time doing the workout, you can use lighter weight, or perform Farmer’s Carry with Dumbbells or Kettlebells.

Background: This benchmark WOD from End of Three Fitness was posted to their @garagegymathlete Instagram channel and YouTube, as one of their “Meet Yourself Saturday” series of workouts. The post said, “We decided to kick the year off with a bang and welcome all of our new members to an epic Meet Yourself Saturday. Just know athletes all over will be joining. Also, scale accordingly.”
