- AMRAP in 20 minutes
- 18 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 lb)
- 18 American Kettlebell Swings (55/35 lb)
- 7 Power Cleans (135/95 lb)
- 12 Burpees
On a 20-minute clock, complete as many rounds and repetitions as possible (AMRAP) of the work as written.
Score is the total number and rounds and repetitions completed when the 20-minute clock stops.
About the wod
Background: This Memorial WOD is dedicated to Lt. Gerald Balboa. “Gerry” was a 14-year veteran of the Miami Dade County Fire Rescue Department, who died of natural causes on March 10, 2018.
“He was dedicated to the fire service, his family, and friends. His compassion and warm presence will be missed. Gerry was taken from our lives too soon and leaves behind a beautiful wife, Clara, and four young children: 12, 7 and two 18-month-old twins.”
The workout was designed by Mike Osuna @mike.osuna of Train 8 Nine @train8nine / CrossFit Coconut Grove @crossfit_coconut_grove (Miami, FL, USA). Friends of Lt. Balboa set up a fundraiser on GoFundMe to help support his family.
