  • Buy-In: 1 mile Run
  • Then, 7 Rounds of:
  • 11 Thrusters (95/65 lb)
  • 5 Strict Pull-Ups
  • 12 Kettlebell Swings (30/20 lb)
  • 21 Burpees
  • Buy-Out: 100 Air Squats

With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written. Athlete must complete the buy-in of 1 mile Run. Then, perform 7 Rounds of 11 Thrusters, 5 Strict Pull-Ups, 12 Kettlebell Swings, and 21 Burpees. To complete the workout, athlete must accomplish the buy-out of 100 Back Squats at bodyweight.

Score is the time on the clock when the 100th Back Squat is completed.

Background: This hero workout is dedicated to Constable Douglas “Dougie” Scott of Royal Canadian Mounted Police V Division who died from a gunshot wound sustained while responding to a call for assistance involving an impaired driver on November 5, 2007, at Kimmirut, Nunavut, Canada.

The workout was designed and submitted to WODwell by Jade Scott @jadetingz, Dougie’s cousin. According to her submission, they were very close growing up and Jade followed in his footsteps when she became a Police Officer. This workout was first trialed and completed by Edmonton Police Service (EPS) @edmontonpoliceservice Southwest Division Squad 4.
