About the wod
Background: This hero workout is dedicated to Constable Douglas “Dougie” Scott of Royal Canadian Mounted Police V Division who died from a gunshot wound sustained while responding to a call for assistance involving an impaired driver on November 5, 2007, at Kimmirut, Nunavut, Canada.
The workout was designed and submitted to WODwell by Jade Scott @jadetingz, Dougie’s cousin. This workout was first trialed and completed by Edmonton Police Service (EPS) @edmontonpoliceservice Southwest Division Squad 4.
The rep scheme signifies:
– 7 rounds for the year Dougie was lost in the line of duty
– 11/5 for the day of the incident
– 12/21 for the day when Dougie was born (1986/12/21)
– 100 Squats for Dougie’s 100% effort in all things
