This Firefighter Hero WOD is dedicated to Donald Burns, FDNY, Assistant Chief, who was killed on September 11, 2001. Donald James Burns, 61, of Nissequogue, was an assistant chief for the New York City Fire Department who worked out of headquarters in Brooklyn. He was last seen setting up a command post in the south tower.
