“DG Qualifier 16.1”
2016 Dakota Games Qualifier WOD #1
- With a Running Clock in 15 minutes
- From 0:00-6:00, establish:
- 3 rep max Front Squats (from the ground)
- Then from 6:01-15:00, AMRAP of:
- 10 calorie Row
- 10 Box Jump Overs (24/20 in)
- 10 Handstand Push-Ups
On a 15-minute clock, perform the prescribed work in the order written. From 0:00-6:00, establish 3 rep max Front Squats from the ground. Then from 6:01-15:00, perform as many rounds and repetitions as possible (AMRAP) of the prescribed work in the order written.
This event will have two scores. Score A is the heaviest weight successfully lifted for the 3 rep max Front Squats. Score B is the total number of rounds and repetitions completed before the 15-minute clock stops.

Background: “DG Qualifier 16.1” was the 1st of 2 WODs for the 2016 Dakota Games Qualifier. The Dakota Games brings thousands of athletes, volunteers, and spectators from around the region together for a weekend of high energy competition and a legendary display of fitness in Fargo, North Dakota. The Dakota Games Championship is held on June 25-26, 2016.
