  • 4 Rounds of:
  • 9 Sumo Deadlift High-Pulls (135/85 lb)
  • 9 Shoulder-to-Overheads (135/85 lb)
  • Time Cap: 5 minutes
  • Rest 2 minutes

  • 5 Rounds of:
  • 7 Dumbbell Thrusters (2x50/35 lb)
  • 3/2 Ring Muscle-Ups
  • Time Cap: 5 minutes

Both events begin on a start mat. Upon receiving the go signal, the athlete will begin working. After finishing the prescribed amount of work, the athlete will run to a finish mat and the time will be recorded. After the Time Cap for Event 6 is reached, there will be a 2:00 reset and transition.

Score is the time it takes to complete each event.

Movement Standards

Sumo Deadlift High-Pull: The athlete’s hands must be inside the legs. They will perform the lift with the rep complete once the Barbell reaches the collarbone and the elbows are at or above the level of the Barbell, and the knees and hips are fully locked out. Power Cleans are not allowed.

Shoulder-to-Overhead: Any style of Shoulder-to-Overhead is permitted: Shoulder Press, Push Press, Push Jerk, Split Jerk. The movement begins with the Bar in the front rack position and ends with the Bar locked out overhead and fully in line with the body and the knees, hips, shoulders, and arms locked out.

Dumbbell Thruster: The Dumbbells will be held at the shoulders while the athlete passes through the squat with the hip crease going below the knee. The athlete will then Thruster the Dumbbells up overhead, with the movement ending with the Dumbbells fully locked out overhead and in line with the body, and then knees, hips, arms, and shoulders locked out.

Ring Muscle-Up: The movement begins with the athlete hanging from the Rings with the arms and shoulders extended and feet behind the rings. The movement ends with the athlete supported on top of the Rings with the elbows locked out. False grip or no false grip is acceptable. Rolls or Butterfly Muscle-Ups are prohibited.
