  • For Time (with a Partner)
  • 58 Box Jump Overs (24/20 in, alternate)
  • 2,500 meter Run (together)
  • 200 meter Walking Lunges (together)
  • Wear a Weight Vest (10/6 kg)
  • Rest 3 minutes
  • Then, complete 4 Rounds of:
  • 33 Hang Power Cleans (60/40 kg) / Partner Deadlift Hold (60/40 kg)
  • 28 Burpee Pull-Ups / Partner Dead Hang Hold

With a running clock, complete the prescribed work in the order written as fast as possible (“For Time“). For the first part of the workout, athletes must wear a Weight Vest. Athletes will complete 58 Box Jump Overs, switching after every rep. Then, both athletes will accomplish the 2,500 meter Run together and the 200 meter Walking Lunges together. Rest 3 minutes. Remove the Weight Vest and proceed to 4 rounds of 33 Hang Power Cleans while the other athlete holds a Deadlift and 28 Burpee Pull-Ups while the other athlete hangs from the Pull-Up Bar. Switch as necessary.

Score is the time on the clock when the last round of the Burpee Pull-Ups is completed.

Background: This workout is dedicated to Commandos Cédric De Pierrepont and Alain Bertoncello who were killed during a rescue operation that freed four hostages in Burkina Faso on May 10, 2019.

The French Navy (a.k.a.: Commando Hubert) designed this workout to pay homage to their brothers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. The name came from the initials of the surnames of the two Navy, De Pierrepont and Bertoncello. This WOD is practiced in pairs, like the combat swimmers that were the two commandos.
