With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written.

Score is the time on the clock when the last set of the Clean-and-Jerks is completed.

Movement Standards

Row: The monitor on the Rower must be set to zero at the beginning of each Row. This workout begins with the athlete sitting on the Rower without touching the handle. The athlete must stay seated on the Rower until the monitor reads the amount of calories required at that moment in the workout. The athlete may have assistance resetting the monitor. A Concept 2 Rower must be used.

Clean-and-Jerk: The Clean-and-jerk is a ground to shoulder to overhead in which the Bar moves from the floor to the overhead with a contact point on the shoulders. The Bar starts on the ground. The athlete can perform any style of Clean to move the Barbell from the floor to the shoulders.

Once the Barbell has been in contact with the shoulders it needs to be secured overhead. Any style of shoulder to overhead is allowed. The Barbell must come to a full lockout overhead, with the hips, knees, and arms fully extended, and the Bar directly over the middle of the athlete’s body. If the Barbell is dropped from overhead, it must settle on the ground before the athlete picks it up for the next repetition. Touch & go is permitted, but deliberately bouncing the Barbell is not.
