“Clean & Jerk Ladder”
Torian Pro 2021, WOD #5
- 1 Clean-and-Jerk
- Men: 106-111-115-120-125-129-134-138-143-147-152-154-156-159-161 kg
- Women: 70-75-79-84-88-90-93-95-97-100-102-104-106-109-111 kg
In this event, the athlete works his or her way through a series of stations with progressively heavier Barbells. The athlete will begin outside the first station. At the call of “3-2-1 Rotate!” the athlete has 50 seconds to move to the platform and perform 1 Clean-and-Jerk. The athlete must successfully complete their lift by the 50-second mark. If the athlete is still moving at the call of “3-2-1 Time!” the lift does not count. The athlete remains at that station until the call of “rotate,” at which point he or she will move to the next station. If the athlete does not successfully Clean-and-Jerk the Barbell within the 50 seconds, he or she does not advance to the next platform.
Athletes will be given one opportunity to “opt out’ of a Barbell. Should an athlete choose to opt-out of any particular bar, at the call of “3-2-1 Rotate” they will inform their judge by throwing the “opt out flag” at the Barbell on the floor. At the call of “3-2-1 Time” the judge will retrieve the flag, and the athlete moves on to the next station. Athletes will receive one opt out flag only for the entire ladder.
Score is the heaviest lift completed. In the event athletes are tied, the split time that they completed their last successful lift will be used to break any ties.
