Split the repetitions as needed between partners. One partner works at a time, except during the row. While Partner A is doing the row, Partner B must be doing a plank hold – switch as needed.

Background: This memorial workout is dedicated to Yves Carrier (65), Gladys Chamberland (55), Charlelie Carrier (21), Maude Carrier (37), Louis Chabot (53), and Suzanne Bernier (66) who were killed in a tragic terrorist attack in Ouagadougou, West Africa, on January 15, 2016.

Gunmen armed with heavy weapons attacked the Cappuccino restaurant and the Splendid Hotel in the heart of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. The number of fatalities reached 30, with the namesakes of this workout among them. These 6 victims were relatives of members of CrossFit Lac-Beauport community, with four of them being from the same family.

This workout was designed by the owner of CrossFit Lac-Beauport @cflbp (Quebec, Quebec City, Canada), Mathieu Corriveau, and their head coach Trevor Tartaglia, to honor the lives of the victims and never forget.

In a message with WODwell, Mathieu told us:

"We live in a small community where everyone knows everyone, so everybody was affected by this tragedy...

...this happened in 2016 (for the row distance) all other numbers reflect the age of each victim."

We do this wod every year, its really intense in the gym on thst day, the reps scheme, really reminds people of the people we lost in our community."

The rep scheme signifies the ages of the victims and the year when the incident happened.
