2019 CrossFit Games Age Group Online Qualifier WOD #3
- For Time
- 3 Rounds of:
- 4 Muscle-Ups
- 13 Shoulder-to-Overheads (135/95 lb)
- Then, 5 Rounds of:
- 4 Muscle-Ups
- 7 Shoulder-to-Overheads (185/125 lb)
- Time Cap: 15 minutes
The workout begins with the athlete standing under the rings. After the call of “3, 2, 1… go,” the athlete may perform 4 muscle-ups and 13 shoulder-to-overheads, using the lighter weight for 5 rounds. Upon completion of the first portion of the workout, the athlete may then continue to the second half: 5 rounds of 4 muscle-ups and 7 shoulder-to-overheads at the second weight (details in Movement Standards section).
Another person may assist the athlete in changing the plates on the barbell during the workout, or multiple barbells may be used. Collars must be placed on the outside of any plates used on the barbell.
The athlete’s score will be the total time it takes to complete the entire workout or the total number of repetitions completed before the 15-minute time cap. Scores must be submitted in elapsed time. Do not use a countdown timer.
About the wod
Qualifier participants will be ranked according to their performances across five workouts. But unlike the Open, athletes will have just four days to complete all four Qualifier events. The top 20 athletes in each division will advance to the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games.
