2017 CrossFit Games Age Group Online Qualifier WOD #4
- 2 Rounds for Time
- 10 Deadlifts (315/225 lb)
- 20 Deficit Handstand Push-Ups (4.5/3 in)
- 30 Front Squats (95/65 lb)
Mark a box on the ground and a foot line on the wall for the handstand push-ups (per movement standards) and create deficit for the handstand push-ups.
Perform 10 deadlifts, 20 handstand push-ups, then to a second barbell for 30 front squats. Once the 30 front squats are completed, move back to the deadlift bar to begin the second round.
About the wod
The qualifier decides the 20 fittest masters and teenagers from every division who will each receive a ticket to the CrossFit Games.
In 2010, the first masters divisions were created. In 2013, the 40-44 Masters Division joined the fray. 2017 was the inaugural year for the new 35-39 Masters Division.
Also new this year, teenage athletes joined the masters. Top athletes in these divisions were encouraged to participate in the worldwide Open and Online Qualifier for the chance to compete at the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games.
