2015 CrossFit Games Age Group Online Qualifier WOD #4
- 21-15-9 Reps for Time
- Deadlifts (225/155 lb)
- Box Jumps (24/20 in)
- Handstand Push-Ups
With a running clock as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written. Athlete must complete 21 Deadlifts, 21 Box Jumps, and 21 Handstand Push-Ups before moving on to 15 reps of each movement, and 9 reps.
Score is the time on the clock when the last round of Handstand Push-Ups is completed.
Deadlift: This is a traditional Deadlift with the hands outside the knees. Sumo Deadlifts are not allowed. Starting at the floor, the Barbell is lifted until hips and knees reach full extension with the shoulders behind the Bar. The arms must be straight throughout. No bouncing.
Box Jump: Every rep must begin with both feet on the floor. The rep finishes with the hips and knees fully open while in control on top of the Box. You may jump or step up or down as long as both feet start on the ground and both feet end on the Box in control.
Handstand Push-Up: Prior to starting you will need to establish your foot line for the Handstand Push-Up. Stand facing the wall with your feet at hip width and your toes touching the wall. While standing tall, reach your hands over your head with your elbows straight, shoulders extended and your thumbs touching. From here, mark the height of your wrist, then measure down 3 inches and create a line on the wall. Mark your line with a permanent marker, chalk, or tape. Judges may restore the line between rounds as needed.
Each Handstand Push-Up begins and ends with the heels in contact with the wall and above the marked line. The athlete may place their hands however they choose as long as their heels are above the line. At the bottom, the head makes contact with the ground. The feet do not need to remain in contact with the wall for the entire movement, but must touch above the line at the beginning and end of each rep. Kipping is allowed.

About the wod
The qualifier decides the 20 fittest masters and teenagers from every division who will each receive a ticket to the CrossFit Games. In 2010, the first masters divisions were created. In 2013, the 40-44 Masters Division joined the fray.
