“50’s Chipper”

  • For Time
  • 50 Air Squats to Box Jumps (24/20 in)
  • 50 Dumbbell Push Jerks (2x50/35 lb)
  • 50 Weighted Horizontal Leg Lifts (50/35 lb)
  • 50 Front Rack Lunges (50/35 lb)
  • 50 foot Handstand Walk

With a running clock, as fast as possible perform the prescribed work in the order written. Athlete must accomplish 50 Air Squats to Box Jumps before moving on to 50 Push Jerks. After the Jerks, athlete will perform 50 Weighted Horizontal Leg Lifts*. Once the Leg Lifts are completed, athlete must complete the 50 Front Rack Lunges and 50 foot Handstand Walk.

Score is the time on the clock when the Handstand Walk is completed.

Movement Standard: For the Weighted Horizontal Leg lifts, start by laying on the ground, facing the sky and holding a dumbbell in front of the chest with both arms fully extended. To complete one repetition of Leg Lifts, athlete must raise both legs from parallel to perpendicular to the ground, finishing by touching the toes to the dumbbell. It is allowed to crunch up to lift the dumbbell higher to meet the toes.
